first thing is first when your Young u never understand your parents but the first thing you learn as a parent is you turn into them you finally understand there worries, there strictness, there stress. i grew up without a dad my mum did a great job with me and my brother she did it all alone and we are not criminals or bad people. i knew when i had children i did want them to have a dad around because i knew how i felt without one. i have 2 children now with a dad. the advice i would give expectant parents is,
allow time take the time to enjoy your baby toddler have all the cuddles and kisses you can remember there first word,tooth,step because it flys by before you know it
don't be hard on yourself learn as you go along no one is the perfect parent. there is not a certain way to do something which is right or wrong
remember you are not just a mum or a dad make time for friends and enjoy yourself
being a parent is the most exciting scariest happy time you will have it brings so many emotions you cant even list them all as well as the biggest rush of love you will ever have for somebody, hope whoever reads this enjoys thee children as i do mine :)

Summary: its a learning curve for all involved
