Advantages: You get so much love & happiness, warmth & satisfaction

Disadvantages: Sleepness nights no matter what age they are. A mixture of emotions

This has to be one of the best jobs in the world. It can be so satisfying and enjoyable, yet tiring and emotional as well.

I have 3 beautiful children, 12, 9 & 21 months, and they are all different in their ways.

I remember when I first found out I was pregnant. I dreaded firstly telling everyone and then the prospect of my life changing forever.

When my first born was born - the love that instantly came through from me for her - was immense. I loved every minute of my maternity leave and the one to one time spent with her.

My second wasn't so easy. I was depressed and my marriage was falling apart whilst I was pregnant. I suffered post-natal depression and could not hold him, feed him or change him. My husband left and I was in a cloud of darkness and sadness for 3 years.

I then met my second husband and my world changed - making the enjoyment of the children fanstatic again.

Watching their first nativities, hear their first words. Feel their uddles & kisses and the love they have or me.

Then I fell pregnant again. I was scared as my husband has a grown up daughter from his previous marriage and is a few years older than me.

But I was older and wiser and felt fantastic throughout my preganancy. Then our little bundle of joy arrived - all perfect and pink.

He is a whirlwind at the moment and having older and siblings is a tough nut as he has them to play with and look up to. But listening to him "sing" Twinkle Twinkle, and now showing his independence - gives so much to our lives.

You can never feel a love quite like it. It has to be the best feeling in the world.

Summary: Brilliant - just brilliant - they best job in the world!
