I don't know myself if this is good advice medically speaking but when my partner and I were expecting our baby she was worried about going over the 9 months and as time went by she did and after a while she could not take it anymore and wanted to just have the baby so I asked around at work to see if anyone knew any natural methods to help speed things along.

Well I eventually got a suggestion of mixing castor oil and orange juice and knocking them back(that is she should of course)so when I got home we tried this and low and behold our daughter arrived the very next day.

I said at the start that I am not sure if this is a good thing to try but she really could not take anymore waiting and worring so we did it,please if you are going to give this a go check with the midwife or doctor before trying hey who knows there is probably somebody here who is one so speak up please.

All went well and baby was born fine fit and healthy and the waiting was over she just needed a bit of lubrication.

If you can I believe things should be left to run their natural course but if you really can't go on try seeking advice from youre friends family or doctor before resorting to self help.

Love ya all and good luck if your expecting.

We tried what got me pregnant in the first place. I didn't think it would, but exactly an hour later she was on her way. A bit uncomfortable mind, but not half as uncomfortable as carrying the baby around for another 2 weeks! Apparently mid wives recommend this method! Jo

We tried going over bumpy roads in teh Alfa Romeo, but it did no good ... 2 weeks over due and 12 pounds plus for No.2 daughter ....
