Advantages: set discpline and educational value

Disadvantages: too long away from children

it depends why children are sent to boarding school in my opinion if family is not around then it may be in the be interest of the child for them to go to a boarding school to get a steady education. personally i could never send my child to a boarding school simply because i like to know what is going on at all times and would not feel that i had control over my own child. i want to make sure that my child grows up with all the love and attention he needs and in my opinion family are the best people to give that to a child. i would not like being away from my child for so long but thats me personally. i know someone who had a child and they were put in boarding school because of behavural problems. the boarding school really helped her child as he came back with set discipline and appreciated things a lot more i suppose it just depends on the individual

Summary: definately would not put my child in boarding school
