Advantages: Good information, and some useful money off vouchers

Disadvantages: Seems to be getting more restricted what you can use vouchers on so not so useful

I joined the Boots parenting club when I was pregnant. I was already a Boots Advantage card holder so it was very easy to just sign up online.

They now send me very interesting emails and magazines about my baby's development as well as regular money off or bonus point vouchers which I've had varying success using. Just before last christmas I managed to use a couple of vouchers to get some good deals on clothes, however when I tried to use vouchers from my last mailout I was told that they couldn't be used on clothes. They can not be used on health / medical items either (I wanted to buy a thermometer) so that leaves baby food (which I don't buy), toiletries (which he doesn't need much of) or nappies (which he does need but I had a cupboard full so didn't want to buy more). I left very disappointed that I hadn't been able to use what looked like good value vouchers.

Summary: Well, its something for nothing, but doesn't seem much of something anymore.
