Advantages: Great rewards and extra points!

Disadvantages: Free changing bag a bit yuck, but lets face it - it is free!

Having received my latest lot of Boots Parenting Vouchers this morning, I thought it was about time I wrote a review about it.

A friend of mine recommended that I joined the Boots Parenting club when I was pregnant. Duly obedient, I toddled off and signed up - easy peasy to do as I already had an advantage card and straight away I was given a freebie - a changing bag. Now, as I love my freebies, I was immediately won over, despite the fact that the bag itself looked fairly yuck, it was free and had a change mat which in due course would come in very handy!

As with all these loyalty schemes, Boots are trying to suck you in to spending all your hard earned cash with them. But lets face it, with a baby, you need such a lot of kit, you do need to buy it somewhere, and if someone is going to give me something back, I am happy to make the most of it.

The club send you regular emails and newsletters, which are interesting enough, though not full of as much infomation as some of the baby websites out there. Why I like them is that they let you know what special offers are on (I am forever in search for the cheapest baby wipes etc so find it handy).

The big benefit for me however is the money off coupons that you are sent. Like usual advantage card literature, they tailor the coupons to what you buy, so they are actually of use. For example, I have always used Pampers, and they continually send me vouchers for money off, and with their special offers in store (usually 2 big bags for £14) I find they are by far the cheapest place to buy them.

The parenting club also gives you extra advantage card points on baby products - 10 per £1 so effectively another 10% off your shopping - again a great offer, especially for me as my Boots points are for my treats!!!

If you are pregnant or have a little one, I would not hesitate to recommend the Parenting Club to you - can't see any downside really, just join up and start saving!!

Summary: Great rewards club for mums
