This voucher scheme enables parents who work for certain companies to purchase childcare vouchers from their wages before paying tax. This is up to a value of £243 per month per parent so there is the potential to save around £100 a month.

I have very limited experience with these vouchers. I subscribed to them and received two payments and made one payment by e-voucher with no problems but then realised that I'd be better off without the vouchers due to the extra child tax credits I'd get. I contacted the voucher company to let them know I no longer wanted the vouchers and they were stopped with no problem.

I then went onto the site to use the other voucher that remained in my account and found that the company had been taken over by Computershare. Everything looked a bit different but I managed to find the option to make a payment. Unfortunately this didn't work and the screen kept getting stuck so I emailed the company. This was 3 days ago now, each day I have tried and failed to make the payment and have had no response from Computershare. I've just sent another email as I didn't have time to phone them today and if the payment doesn't go through very soon it will be late and I'll be charged a late fee, so we'll see what they say.

Summary: I'm glad I'm better off financially without them as its better for my sanity too
