Absolutly terrible service, payments taken out of clients bank accounts and not paid over at all. Emails take forever to get replied to and are of no help when/if a reply is given. Have had over two dozen replies and no information from any of them and contacting them by phone is a complete waste of time, if you can get through you get hollow promises or transfered to someone who knows nothing and can not help. Often takes over a hour to answer phone calls would suggest anyone interested goes to another provider. Would give a no star rating if i could

I do not have experience of using Busy Bees but it sounds like a lot of people are having serious problems. My wife and I have been using a small provider called Apple Childcare Vouchers and the customer service that we have received has been excellent. I can always get through on the telephone without waiting, my emails are responded to and my payments always reach my childcare provider on time. I could not recommend them enough! There website is www.applechildcarevouchers.co.uk

Have been trying for at least two months now to set up a company scheme with Computershare Vouchers (formerly Busy Bees).

You would have thought it would be quite a simple thing to get going but apparently not.

They had to be chased many times to send through the scheme details and employer number.

Have been unable to setup voucher payments as an employee. They seemed to blame the switchover from the old to new system for the problems but that doesn't justify taking 7 days to respond to a simple email query or not picking up the phone.

All in all an absolutely abysmal service and am now looking for a new provider as I don't believe that Computer share will be able to administer the account on a long running basis without lots of pain and phone calls.

Only been using them for 2 months. Since they changed to computershare, we have not received our vouchers for this month (October).

Do not reply to emails, you have to hold for at least 20 minutes.

They realise its their fault and blame it on a system change. Surely for such a big company, significant testing on the system should have been carried out, and back up system kept in place.

Promised vouchers would arrive on the 28th, no voucher received. Found out from employer, that they have received no invoice. Same problem with my wife's voucher.

they have promised payment on monday 2nd November.

I have allready written to watchdog about this, and will continue to do so if they do not provide us with the vouchers.

Nursery/Childcare vouchers are a great scheme but do NOT go with ComputerShare Vouchers (previously Busybees). They are nothing short of a joke. I am currently 'on hold' waiting to talk to what they jokingly call Customer Services about the fact that my Child Minder hasn't been paid this month. I have been on hold for 20 minutes now without getting through to anyone. This is not untypical. Unfortunately you generally need to call customer services on a regular basis to sort out all the many many issues...... don't go with them whatever you do. Absolutely awful (i've given them one star but only because it wouldn't allow me to give them none!!!!)

This voucher scheme enables parents who work for certain companies to purchase childcare vouchers from their wages before paying tax. This is up to a value of £243 per month per parent so there is the potential to save around £100 a month. I have very limited experience with these vouchers. I subscribed to them and received two ...  Read the complete review

Great idea, appalling service!! Vouchers are often late or sometimes never even turn up (to the constant dismay of the nursery); they seem to change our address at random (vouchers have sometimes been addressed to other houses in our street); customer service is useless; I doubt they could organise a p*ssup in a brewery.

Good tax break, but absolute pain of a provider. if your employer is thinking of starting a voucher scheme (and they should - it saves them money too), then make sure they use a different provider. There are plenty out there, but Busy Bees seem to dominate for some reason. In all the time my wife and I have been using Busy Bees, not one ...  Read the complete review

Although I do agree Busy Bee Vouchers are a fantastic way to save hundreds of pounds a year, the service is appauling! I have been using them for nearly 2 years now and in that time have had many issue's! Firstly it used to take on average 2-3 months for them to amend an amount on the voucher as nursery costs increased. This was causing me to have ...  Read the complete review

BusyBees are useless!!! (280 words)

I am in agreement with the majority of comments on this page that BusyBees are a very poor company to deal with. Initially I had logging on problems (ie I couldn't) every month, although their new website does seem to have solved that problem. My most recent problem was that they failed to take this month's money from my husbands wages, leaving us ...  Read the complete review

Service is appalling. Errors on errors. We have had solicitors letters from an old nursery demanding money that went out of our account months ago but was not credited to the nursery. We have had emails from busy bees saying that the money was paid, but it wasn't.
We still can not access our account online as they have shut down their system as someone has hacked into it and got access to 100,000 customers personnal details including their bank account details.
What a shambles. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Yes the concept of tax relief on childcare vouchers is excellent but the service provided by busy bees is appalling. Logging into busy bees is like banging your head against a brick wall then diving into a bag of salt. If you want to log into your account I would recommend to set aside approximately 24 hours - for undoubtedly this is the time ...  Read the complete review

Paying by evoucher is a pain.
Out of the 3 computers I am regularly using, only one seem to be able to make paiements. Well and not each time... Issues with Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google Chrome.
+ if you manage to connect, the site is extremely unfriendly and uninstinctive.
I am using another childcare voucher provider with my husband's company and I don't have all this pain and stressful time each time I have to arrange a paiement.
Not recommended.

Childcare vouchers are a way of saving money while paying for your childcare. It works my taking the money from your salary before tax is deducted. This way your annual earnings are lower, therefore you pay less tax. The maximum you can claim is £243 per month. Why did I choose Busybees? Well I had heard that they had a good reputation ...  Read the complete review

Computershare Voucher Services: Politely hopeless (164 words)

Busy Bees are hopelessly inefficient. Their website is poorly designed, uninformative (for any information of interest to busy people) and extemely unwieldy. Finding the right place to go to get evouchers takes time and obviously much more intuition than I have been blessed with. Logging on for evouchers works only intermittently and is an ...  Read the complete review

Beware - Busy Bees make frequent mistakes in the amount of the voucher issued to the childcare provider, leaving the parent to explain to the provider why they have been underpaid. They are especially bad at feeding changed amounts through to the vo9ucher issue (they collect the new amount but then don't pay it over)
The customer services department do not respond to emails and often it is very difficult to reach them by telephone. I am trying currently to get hold of them but I am just disconected after a recorded message.

Busy Bees operate a system that allows you to buy childcare vouchers from them. These are then used to pay your child's [or children's] carer, rather than paying in cash. The advantage for you is a tax break of up to £904 per year for a basic rate taxpayer, or £1,196 for a higher rate taxpayer. The way it works is a bit ...  Read the complete review
