We bought a changing/dressing/bathing unit from argos, it was around £50 and it was one of the best things we bought.

Ours has two 'shelves' for changing accessories and bath accessories. It has a bath and a changing mat that is on top of the bath and you just drop the changing mat down the back to use the bath.
The bath has a plug and a tube to make it easier to empty it. Rather than carrying a full bath of water to the sink/bath to empty it you just wheel the whole thing to where you want to empty it and pull the plug and the water exits via the tube.

My little boy prefers the proper bath so we havent used the bath many times but it is so much easier to use than the ones where you have to kneel on the floor!

The changin mat is great, it has two high edges because it is up of the ground these HELP to stop your baby rolling off. Obviously you cant just leave your baby on it but it does add that extra safety. The mat is easily cleaned and i at a perfect height for changing and dressing your baby.

The shelves are the full siz of the unit underneath the bath and the mat. There is also 3 small compartments on the top of the unit, next to the bath and mat which are really handy to keep the accessories you need the most, like wipes, a few nappies, sudocrem and even socks!

Summary: the baby is at a convenient height for easy changing and dressing
