What is?

Well, do you have a toddler/child from 2 to 5? Then this will be ideal.

It's a sand pit/water table. You know the ones, they are £24.99 in Index/Argos and toy shops and don't seem to be as well made.


Unlike the ones in Index/Argos, it is divided vertically straight down the middle (they are divided from corner to corner and don't seem as big).

Assembly couldn't be easier, the legs just slot in/out.

Emptying the water out is easy with a plug that pops up in each side (just make sure they don't lose them as they are quite small).

You also get a few little extras like bucket with seive, spade, sand rake, plastic turtle and starfish sand moulds and water activity toys.

Unlike a paddling pool which is extremely unsafe without constant supervision this is a lot safer because they can't fall into it.s

The lid is brilliant as it is so flat it makes it into an ideal desk/table.

Even when the little ones have grown out of it you will be able to use it in the garden as something to put your drinks on.

It's brilliant to see a toddler playing with something like this. I spent ages today just
watching her pour water from one side to the other (we couldn't get any sand today that's on the shopping list).

It really teaches them to use their imagination and it's amazing when you realise
what they have picked up in day to day life and act out whilst bathing/showing their toys how to swim etc.

It is really sturdy even when you take the lid off, no problems with it overbalancing or anything like that.

Sorry, I haven't put this under Tesco because I'm not discussing them in particular, just the item.
