Advantages: Makes interesting lampshades, tie up the legs and use for your husbands sandwich bags.

Disadvantages: Crunch, scrunch, scratch, crinkle AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I admit after giving birth you don't really are what your knickers look like. But the last thing you want especially if you have a section or stitches down below is paper knickers.

I saw some reduced in Tescos and thought they might be useful for those first few days. I got a pack of 16/18 as I was pretty big. At home I though I better check them before packing them in my hospital bag. Once I stopped laughing I put in the bin. They would have fitted the baby better. They would be the most uncomfortable thing ever.

My first birth took 48 hours and after a C section I produced a 11lb 6 oz baby. Belive me if I had found these in my bag I would have gone mad, people would have lost their lives.

This time around I was prepared and went into The More Store and got lots of big Granny knickers for 75p each. They come right up past the bump and were really comfy. I bought them to wear while I was preganant and wore them after until the bump went down. I think I got size 24/26 but I had a big belly.

Check out Poundstrechers, W.E.W, B Wise and C&A for smilar big knickers.
