Front opening night dresses (Front-Opening Nightdress)
Member Name: dustmad
Advantages: great for breastfeeding Disadvantages: not sexy at all I am pregnant for the second time expecting twins. When I had my first baby in 2007 I took a couple of front opening night dresses into hospital with me , as I intended to breast feed. I found it really hard to find some in the shops. They are not in many of the shops on the high street. I think this is because they are not the prettiest of things to be wearing, and forgive me for saying this .... but I think you will only find them in the older womens type of shops. I managed to get mine in a shop called Ladies realm in the end , which is also where I bought my large Bridget Jones knickers for after the labour. The front opening night dresses saved my life. They made it so much easier to breast feed and anything that makes life easier when you have had a baby is a good thing indeed!!!! I would recommend that you don't spend too much money on a nightdress if it is for the purpose of breastfeeding. Mine cost me around £5 each, and lasted quite well, but it is not the type of nightwear that I would wear if I didn't have too. So for this reason you don't want to break the bank. Summary: Finding somewhere that sells these is difficult, but worth the search |
