Advantages: fast emergency care

Disadvantages: dirt lack of care

defiantly if i have another child it will not be at hospital. i have 2 children a 3 year old and a 7 month old my first birth was OK have to say staff were lovely and from being induced all was great i was left in the labor room and both parents were allowed in no concerns here was looked after great. the second however has put me off for life after being in labor all day i decided i was in to much pain and my contractions were every 5 Min's apart rang my hospital to be told take paracetamol and ring back later, next contraction i told my birthing partner i was pushing she rang back to be told oh if you must come in, like i was going to get in the way. so we arrive to walk forever down the longest bloody corridor for the staff not to listen to my screams and pleas for drugs and a bed as i stated i can feel the head to be passed from person to person to do blood pressure ect ect anyway i got layed down and baby was there in one push i was treated not special or anything the room was left a bloody mess my partner was told to go home 1 hour after birth as i had to stay in i was moved rooms at 1 in the morning had no interaction with anyone until i signed out at half 7 in the morning no checks were made on me as i had a very high pulse finally got tea but no toast received no bounty packs no hospital pictures i hated every minute i know mine is not a horror story but never again if i do it will be home birth all the way:)
