It has been good reading the ops on this subject of MALU's. I thought I would have a problem with this one as I was not a happy teenager and any first loves are lost in the memories of this time; all jumbled up in a cupboard in my mind I rarely open. However, I was able to make up for it later too many times for my own good. :-)

Love is a word which is used perhaps more than any other. Not surprising when it's presence or absence affects our well-being so often. Does it move mountains or make the world go round? Of course it does. It's source is unfathomable, probably because it has always been here........... maybe before we were, a great mystery just waiting quietly to be woken by the first stirrings of life on our beautiful planet. Love's magic is that it can't be bought or sold, is freely available to the rich or the poor, and yet is the most precious of all things.

All the scientists in the world cannot, nor never will, be able to tell you where Love comes from. It fills you up from within, yet enfolds you from without. It gives you the ability to tell that your beloved has walked into a crowded room before you know he/she is there. Love is playful and can evade you if you search for it, fly away when most needed or follow you around unnoticed and then drop into your heart with a mighty thud when you least expect. It has the light kindness of a spring morning or the fearsome turbulence of winter storms.

I am not about to give you an autobiography (sorry and all that) but I also have been battered as well as blessed by this wonderful gift. I have had the time to experience more in life than some, yet always came back for more. Oh! Love does keep life interesting and never palls. It doesn't tire, just settles in if you let it and sits comfortably inside as an ever present friend. You can face anything or anybody when the light in the eyes of your loved one is there because you are the cen
tre of their being.

Above all....Love does not have boundaries. The heart, like the Universe, is infinite and has no compartments. Like the Universe, it can't be used up. Which is why we can give all our love to a partner, all our love to a child and all our love to a friend and still have an endless supply left. Not bad, eh!

A really good opinion. It was one that just made me think "Aww, that's nice" and you come away feeling pleased you took teh time to read it. Well done!

I think you appreciate "good love" more when you've experienced "bad" or perhaps "unhealthy" love.

I don't think I could survive without receiving or giving love.
