Maternity pads - what a bleeding nuisance (Maternity Pads (Sanitary))
Member Name: dustmad
Advantages: helps you be more mobile Disadvantages: I hate sanitary towels, they are clumpy feeling. Maternity pads ......... now theres a subject !!!! I had my first baby in 2007 , and although I read up on all in ins and outs on the labour and baby care after the birth, I had no idea about how my body would react. None of the books I read told me that I would bleed to the extent that I did after the birth. I knew obviously that I would bleed a bit , but I didn't stop bleeding for 8 weeks !! I had only bought a couple of packs of maternity pads , so I soon had to rush out and stock up with more. I think the lady in Boots thought I was mad when I put about 10 packs on the counter !! I am now pregnant for the second time , expecting twins. I have started to buy the maternity pads each week , so I will have enough in stock for when the time comes. The best ones that I found are the Tescos ones. You get 10 in a pack for 85p. Summary: my view on maternity pads |
