Morning SicknessNewest Review: ... given suppositories (one a day - just what you need when you feel awful) however I did my duty but to no avail. The days went by and I was hardly eating and was only drinking minimal amounts as a mouthful of water could make me be sick three times, and I would consider how thirsty I was before drinking. By now I was in bed all the time - and despite the title of morning sickness was predominantly sick through the night - about 7-8 times. Waking up and moving my eyes was enough to start me off. I have to say the doctor said my baby was fine describing her as the perfect parasite that fed off me whilst I just melted away. The doctor was a... more |

It has been seven years since I had hyperemersis gravidarum. It was without doubt one of the most remembered periods of my life. I, like most women had suffered with the crushing tiredness that comes in early pregnancy, almost imperceptibly I began to lose interest in food - I was unable to decide what I wanted to eat. One day when I was about 7-8 weeks pregnant I woke feeling completely shattered and decided after I was up and dressed that I couldn't face work and rang in sick, little did I know at that point I would be gone for nine weeks. That first day I was sick four times, after a week I went to the doctors and was signed off for 1 week, and ... Read the complete review

When I first fell pregnant I was expecting to suffer with severe morning physical sickness as both my mum and grandma were very sick throughout their pregnancies. I expected to get it just in the morning and that it meant throwing up all the time. However, I soon began to understand what it was all about. It was not just something that you got in the morning and would go come the afternoon and it did not mean that you were just physically sick. I have been pregnant twice and within the first 13 -14 weeks I suffered with morning sickness though was never physically sick thankfully. I would wake up with a funny taste in my mouth, not feel like eating and the ... Read the complete review

My experience of morning sickness is probably similar to many other mummies out there but unfortunately I have never actually met anyone whom had it quite as bad as me, especially with my first. My morning sickness started around 6 weeks pregnant on both occasions and with my first it lasted on and off through most of the pregnancy whereas on the second occasion with my daughter it went away about the four month into the pregnancy. I can remember with my first, I was waking up and running to the toilet, I was having to take a carrier bag with me everywhere with me encase I needed to throw up on the way to work, when I got to work I would spend most ...
