Advantages: contain poo and wee!! (well most of the time!)

Disadvantages: Some leak and cause nappy rash!

There are so many nappies on the market from "super fit" to "extra dry" to "natural fit". We started off with your well known brand pampers and I must admit I still do like Pampers. They have worked fine for both of my children. I then tried Huggies newborn instead and was amazed by how lovely and soft they felt compared to Pampers which felt so much more rigid. Annoyingly these were discontinued though and changed to the newborn "natural fit" which apparently were meant to be mroe comfortable, I however just found that they now leaked baby poo- so back to pampers we went!
Once my littlies were onto more solid food we tried baby naturecare which are a 70% biodegradeable nappy! These do not have any of the cute pictures on them and are not as stretchy, comfy looking. They are also a little more expensive than Pameprs and Huggies.
Now if you want to go for a cheaper option go for Tescos ultra dry. These are REALLY good. As good as Pampers I think and of course a nicer price tag too! I have also tried Sainsburys own brand and these are fine I think for babies with more solid poo but not quite as good as Tescos!

Summary: choose your nappy carefully!

You could also use reusable nappies ones tha are shaped like disposables and that you wash does save money in the end
