One of the biggest problems is having unrealistic expectations.
Becoming a parent really changed our life. Suddenly there seemed to be no time for us;for the things we liked to do;for quiet moments with my partner or friends. Sometimes I may fel that there isn't any time for the basic things in life like eating and sleeping.
Babies really do change everything. You can't carry on with your old life, you have to find a new way of being you. I felt that life was sliding out of control and I had to stop and take stock. Just getting on top of one thing made me feel a whole lot better.
A family is not just a set of people living under one roof. Even if there are only two of us, we are now a unit and linked together. When one moves,all the people in the chain feel the change.
