Advantages: Unconditional love., Rewarding.

Disadvantages: Tantrums.

As a mum of four children I know how hard been a parent is dont get me wrong I love my children but there are times I feel like having a tantrum. My eldest son will be seven in two weeks and to him im theworst mum in the world why you ask because I stop him doing silly things but im only trying to protect him .When I first had my son I thought this is so easy now I look back I think to myself how have I survived this if somebody had offered me a job where I was unappricated unpaid on call all the time would I have took it no .

I would not change having children because I have learnt a lot from them watching them smile makes it all worth while but been a parent is harder than you can ever imagine even more so when your playing the role of mum and dad and the kids blame you because daddys no longer around.Even though my kids are young they know daddys gone but in there eyes im the bad person my son tells me all the time I hate you I know he does not mean it he is just angry but those words hurt.

I suppose one thing you learn you learn as a parent is what you put you parents through I was a complete nightmare and only looking back now can I see my mum only wanted what was best for me it was not unfair it was concern.I try my best to make sure my kids have everything they need but sometimes I make mistakes but im only human and I am still learning nobody is perfect .Everyday as a parent you learn something new something which totallys amazes you but on the other hand you never stop worrying about them my daughter is only five but I worryabout her coming home preganant now I know I should be enjoying these times but how do you stop worrying you cant .

The great thing about been a parent is those first words mummy your heart just melts but what about tantrums you never worry about them then suddenly there there I know tantrums are just part of the growing up process but imagine if i laid on the floor and started having a tantrum what would my children think ?

Parenting is a hard job but its very rewarding but as parents we have to learn and adapt to our children and try to see things from a parents point of view parenting is not for everbody and yes there are a lot of bad parents in the world but the good outweighs the bad.
