Advantages: at least in the long run i am on the road to recovery

Disadvantages: I felt nobody was listening to me

Hi I am Carla, I had a baby in february this year,so he is about five and half months old now. When I was pregnant at 30 weeks I started to suffer from really bad back, pelvis and groin pain, every two weeks I went to my antenatal appointments and I complained of the same pain, the doctor said I wasn't getting enough rest and that this was normal in pregnancy especially as I was expected to have a big baby. As the weeks went on the got worse, it got to the stage where the front of my pelvis was making a cracking noise as I walked, it was worse when I got up first thing in the morning, my husband had to help out of bed.
Due date came and passed and still no baby, I finally had him two weeks over my due date. After birth I still in pain with my back, pelvis and groin, swelling even started around that area. I battled three times at the doctors, I finally got noticed when I kicked up enough fussto get referred to the hospital for treatment which was in the middle of July to be diagnosed with SPD, so that in total was nine months I suffered in pain.
Don't be fobbed off like I was, you deep down yourself that something is not right. I hope that this will help somebody out there so they don't go through what I went through.

That sounds terrible! Welcome to Dooyoo, though! Have a look around at other opinions - this will help you to get more reads anyway, and let you see what people like to read! Enjoy the site!

That sounds really awful, I'm glad to hear you're on the road to recovery now though.

Ziggy.
