Baby oil for stretch marks (Pregnant Mum Skincare in General)
Member Name: dustmad
Advantages: works well and is cheap Disadvantages: slippery for a while During my first pregnancy I was worried about getting stretch marks. So I rushed out and bouht all the expensive lotions and potions available in Boots which claim to be the best for stretch marks. But they were so expensive that I got put off buying a refil when mine had run out , so I just used baby lotion instead. It was my hair dresser that actually recommended that I try using baby oil. It was brilliant and worked really well. As it was, I still got few stretch marks but only in the last week because I was so huge!! I think a normal sized bump would have coped quite well with the baby oil and would have avoided the stretch marks. Another skin care product I used was a tub of body butter for the rest of my body. You can get this in the body shop, and it smells lovely and makes you feel really nice, especially at a time when you need it most!! Summary: skin care during pregnancy |
