I have three girls virtually grown up now and a 12 year old boy. I find the girls get on very well in pairs but not a a threesome generally, with any combination of two of them tending to side almost subconsciously against the third. I have tried to judge for want of a better word what causes the divide but cant seem to actually put it down to anything in particular. The divide seems to swing either way also for no apparent reason that I can put my finger on. Although if picking I would say that the eldest and youngest seem to go together more than any other combination although this is only a slight difference.

The eldest and youngest girls are both hard working opinionated individuals whilst the middle daughter is different as at 20 years of age she doesn't really know what she wants in life as yet. She is hardworking but in a different way, she works hard for a while and then seems to lose interest. This is not just from an employment perspective but in life generally. I put it down to her not finding as yet something that really interests her, the others put it down to laziness which she is certainly not.

The girls share clothes but the sharing seems to go one way more than the other, the middle daughter has lots of accessories and things that she has adapted and is more individualistic when it comes to clothes. She is more than willing to share her stuff but the others are not as willing, especially the eldest.

If any one of them however is getting abused in any way... boyfriend, friend or at work for instance they are always there for each other. The are also united when it comes to deciding on telling me their mum things ...They will all know about something for instance and not tell me. The solidarity between them is fantastic and I know that each of them would go to the end of the earth for the other.....so long as they dont have to all do it together!!!

Summary: how my three get along ...in my opinion !! not theres!!
