Slippers - I wouldn't be without mine (Slippers)
Member Name: dustmad
Advantages: Keeps your feet warm Disadvantages: some designs are difficult to walk in I am just the biggest fan of slippers ever !!!!! Infact I bought another pair of slippers at the weekend. I was in Marks and Spencers and I couldn't resist looking through their slipper section. There were the best pair I've seen for a long time ( a real must have purchase ). They are Per Una ones and are fluffy pink with embroidered polka dots on them. They are the style that you slip onto your foot rather than put your foot inside like a shoe. They cost £12 which is probably the most I would ever pay for a pair of slippers, but they are so lovely I do not regret getting them. I am currently sorting out my hospital bag for when I go in to have my twins , and slippers are a must have item when going in to hospital. Just another excuse to buy a new pair I thought!! The midwives give you a list of items you need to pack in your hospital bag, and slippers are one of them. It is important for health and safety reasons and also for cleanliness too. Slippers are useful to wear around the home, but beware of the large ones that are for children that look like footballs or monsters feet etc. They are quite dangerous when going up and down the stairs. Slippers come in many different styles and sizes. You can never go far wrong with buying someone a pair of slippers for a christmas present, I find they go down quite well. They make your feet feel all snuggley, just the ticket on a winters night!! Summary: My love of slippers |
