I was a teenage mum, i say was as i am now 25.

This was with out a doubt the hardest thing i have ever had to do, luckily i had a fantastic family and friends with loads of support.

Unfortunatly i didnt have a father for my daughter as he didnt want to know.

I have been through the council houses/flats and being single or years and even putting up with the looks and terrible comments and steriotypes that we ssingle teenage parents were in but i managed and i am stronger for it, i wont pretend it wasnt hard and still noe that i am older i still get that look when peole ask me how old my daughter is and then they work out my age of when i had her.

It does get easier and i'm not going to try and give an excuse - i have the best - but i should have realised before it was too late.

However i wouldnt change a thing i am who i am today because of my little girl and i would never wish her away (Even when she's a monster) :)

Summary: It does get better but never goes away
