When my wife was pregnant with out first child, we got into lots of debates about whether or not breastfeeding was going to be better for our child. After doing a lot of research, and talking to some of our friends, and the doctors of course, we decided that we were going to give it a go, and in my opinion it was the best thing we did.

When we were considering it, I was the one that was pushing the idea of beastfeeding, even though she wasnt too keen on the idea. In my opinion, I think that it is in the babies best interests and is the most natural thing in the world. In addition to this, it has been proven that babies who have bottle milk, are sick more often, as they dont really like the taste. My wife breastfeed for the very first moment she gave birth, even though it did take a while, and then we had to decide when to stop, and it was around 6 months old that she stopped, probably because she fell pregnant with out second child, who she also breastfeed.

One of the biggest debates going on at the moment is the agrument about when is the best time to stop breastfeeding your child. I have heard of some mothers who argue that it is perfectly normal to breastfeed up to 2 years old, but in my opinion, I think that it is right to stop before they turn 1. This is mainly because I imagine that it would start to hurt, as by then, babies are starting to get their teeth, and I know I wouldnt want to go through it.

When she finally did stop with our second child, she it was such a relieve as it is such hard work, but she loved every minute of it. Transfering the babies onto bottled milk was extremely hard, but if you stick at it, you will find it does work. To sum up, breastfeeding is the best thing in the world, and what mother nature intended.
