I am sick and tired of breastfeeding mothers and their babies being treated like criminals. I think that breasstfeeding is a completely natural thing to do and while I don't frown on bottle feeding, I think that women who chose to breastfeed shouldn't be harangued and sent to feed their babies in broom cupboards or worse still toilets. I breastfed my oldest daughter (who is now 10) until she was 18 months old and had no qualms about doing it wherever she needed feeding and that included in church and whilst shopping in the supermarket. I was initially doubtful about breastfeeding but found it to be quick, easy and natural and above all satisfying for my baby. Don't let prudes make you feel guilty if you want to breastfeed.
