As a mum of twins I feel I am able to write from my experience my twins are two and a half now and when I look back on those first few months I wonder how I coped people assume that having twins is like having two childen close in age well let me tell you its not its not even similar. I found out I was having twins when I was five weeks pregnant and it was a complete shock I already had two children and I admit I was worried but slowley I came round and felt as though they were a blessing. my little boys were born at 28 weeks and they fought so hard to be here my heart broke to see them everyday hooked up to all the machines and at times I felt they would be better off dead free from pain but everyday they got stronger we had a few bumps along the way and my eldest twin had two operations due to him been born premature but they finally came home to me and there siblings .

In the beginning it was so hard but I was lucky as they never fed at the same times and were very good at sleeping through the night as babies they never really bothered with each other but as times progressed they became more aware of each other and started to play with each other now it is not all fun and games they do fight but all siblings fight. They chase each other round the room fight over toys but at other times they act so serious they do all sorts for each other and are very loving towards each other.

Dont get me wrong im not saying its really easy because its not its so much harder than people imagine when I want to go out out I have to take double of everything and my twin buggy never fits anywhere when one cries the other does and if I give one something I have to give the othere but I would not change it for the world there my two special little boys.
