Disadvantages: Its Hardwork

My twin boys were born November 21st 2007, 9 days early, by elective C-Section weighing 7lb 40z and 7lb 1oz. I had to have a c-section as lower twin was breech. I am a single mum to my boys, who are now nearly 1, and although it is such hardwork i can honestly say I absolutely LOVE it.

I often get the same comment when out and about "awww how do you cope" which annoys me so much but i grit my teeth and politely answer with, "the same way anybody else does with 1 baby or more"

When firstborn it was such hardwork, with the sleepless nights, they still dont sleep through the night but they have learnt to settle themselves when they get up. Now they are older though it is so much more fun, now they interact with each other, I didnt think they would be that close because they're not identical but they have shocked me it brings tears to my eyes how close they actually are sometimes. They cutch each other and say "awww", after hitting each other mind you. They play together, and if ones having a quick snooze the other cries and whinges until he wakes. Which although that is annoying to listen to it is melts my heart. They babble god knows what to each other, and laugh their little heads off. They really are a bundle of fun together. I am so proud to say I'm a blessed mum to twin boys.

And it makes me proud to go shopping or go out and to see people out of the corner of my eye staring into their pram and cooing and sayin "awwwww look at them twins", it makes me so proud because I know I produced them little babies.

Summary: Us Twin Mummies Are Blessed, But Saying That All Of Us Mummies Are Blessed
