Again an op in parenting , well socks do keep you feet warm I can not remember cold feet when I was pregnant, any way here goes

Well l if you do not get Slippers, you may get socks for Christmas. A very useful present everyone wears socks.
Socks keep you feet warm and stop the shoe leather rubbing against your feet.
Socks can be bought from many outlets, high street shops, catalogues, and supermarkets so it’s an easy little thing to buy.
Socks are not very expensive start at a few pounds for a pair or a multi pack

There are several types of socks designed for different activities.

Everyday socks, in winter I prefer a thicker sock to keep my tootsies warm on the playground. I do not like pure wool socks I prefer a mix of fabrics

In summer I prefer a lighter sock if I am wearing any, ones made out of cotton

Walking socks I have several pairs to wear when I am wearing my walking boots. These are thicker ones to absorb the shock feet get when they are tramping across the countryside they can be bought in outdoor shops, or sent away for.

Slipper socks, socks to wear in the house instead of slippers these usually have non-stick pads on the soles I have received these as Christmas presents in the past.



Pop socks,
Well these are little socks made from the same stuff as tights or stockings to wear under trousers or a long skirt. Horrible things, most inelegant.

Hand knitted socks.
Some people still knit their own socks. I haven’t not even a baby’s bootee has been knitted for my grandchild. I have bought him some cute little socks though

Socks come in a variety of lengths

Footsies, ones just to cover your feet inside a shoe.
Ankle socks, long socks, over the knee socks almost stockings.

Bed socks for wearing at night in bed to keep your feet warm, not maybe so common in our centrally heated modern world.

Socks co
me in a variety of materials, towelling, wool, acrylics, and nylon.
Do not wear just socks on a slippery floor as they might be the cause of a tumble.

Socks come plain, patterned or with statements and designs.
I prefer a plain coloured socks I am not one for wearing cartons on my feet, no Bart Simpson, mr men or cute comments.
Small children are the only ones who can get away with wearing socks with pictures on

Colour co-ordination please no black socks with brown trousers please gents. Yes you need to co-ordinate your socks to your trousers, and are you sure those are a pair you have put on? Different colours?

Smelly socks are nasty some people suffer dreadfully luckily I and my husband do not but kids at school I hate putting there socks on after P.E that is one of my worst jobs. A clean fresh pair everyday please.

Oh please do not wear them if you are going to bed with me turn off or what.
Am I too sexy for my socks, well I am not too keen on wearing socks or shoes or slippers in the house prefer naked bare feet.
