Advantages: Memories last forever

Disadvantages: You can never get those first steps etc back again

I can see exactly what everyone is saying on this subject.

I was an at home mum for a while but my problem was i was a single mum and only 17, my parents were fantastic but i felt such an over welming guilt that i wasnt bringing in any money (Living at home still) i literally had my benefit which went on nappies and baby milk etc, so i made the decision to return to work, it was so hard i had early mornign starts and then by the time i got home my little girl was asleep and i was exhausted.

When i then left home i had to work to be able to afford the bills and with the little help from the benefits i recieved (Before tax credits were iintrduced) i struggled to make ends meat, i missed my daughters first step and her first word and these are hings you will never get back.

There is so much more help you can get now but they can't help with getting those memories.

i think if you can afford to stay at home then thats great and agree that there should be more resources available and the decision should not be forced because of money issues.

Completely agree with the last review written that Babies are not babies forever and if you miss those important first moments they are lost forever. (Second time round memories arent as good)
