I dont judge a mum by whichever decision she chooses.
I do, however, hold a strong opinion to those who judge stay at home mums as lazy, benefit scroungers.
I am a stay at home mum. It was a decision me and my partner made together when we first had children, We both decided it would be better for me to stay home and get a job once the children were all in school. Our choice.
I have been asked in the past how much benefits we get. Why should I answer that??
My partner works very hard for his wages, and thats what counts. He pays his share of taxes, we are not both sat at home on the dole. Yes, we get benefits, we get Child benefit, which everyone with children gets, and we get child tax credits. We are entitled to working tax credits, but we dont need them, so we dont claim them.
I have great respect for mums who go out and work a full time job, I know how hard it is raisng my kids, and throwing a job into the mix must be hard sometimes.
But, please, dont judge people!

Summary: Theres no need to judge people on their choices

I'm a stay at home mum and wouldn't change it for the world, it may be a struggle somtimes with just hubbys wages but i would hate to miss out on my kids growing up.

I'm in agreement with mums staying home if their partner is working. It's where both parents claim they need to be home (on benefits) to look after the children that annoy me. Previous generations managed to bring up big families with the Dad at work...
