Working mother vs stay athome mothers is some of a devate in this country, and one that I have a strong opinion one. My opinion is a mother should do what she thinks is right for their child, and only they know what is the right thing to do. After a woman gives birth, they should never be forced to go back to work by anyone, they must be the one makes the decision to go back to work. My wife took 9 months of work before she went back to work, and used this time to bond with our new born son, period which we both enjoyed very much. Some feel that they should go back to work after giving birth, and so go as soon as possible.


Staying at home with your baby is a brilliant thing to do, and a mother, and a father need to be able to bond with their baby. Some reports has suggested that women who go stgraight back to work after having a baby, are more likely to suffer post natal depression later on, but I dont believe these reports one little bit. A women needs to feel like she is worth something, and my wife thought that staying at home with our son was the best thing to do. When my sister has her baby, she went back to work after only a couple of weeks, and this she thought worked best for her. It is different in every situation, and women shouldnt be judges based on their decision. I gave up a long time ago trying to undertand women, it just doesnt work. I took 3 weeks out of work, and this gave me time to get to know my child, but then I had to be practical, we needed money to look after our child, and it is this that controls someones decision whether or nor to stay and home or go back to work.
