I saw an episode last week where the kids were beginning at 12 and 13 to get into drugs and sex and whatever else was going they could do.

Ok people will say but that's the states not the UK. Yes it is but we have our own problems which could be solved like this.

How many times do you walk down the road to see grafitti, signs damaged and defaced, kids play parks wrecked, shopping trolleys dumped and reformed into artwork. I live in a Milton Keynes (I know concrete cows), which is a nice place to live unless you dislike roundabouts. But where we used to live the local youths, used to smash the play park to bits on a regular basis, on night they were even in the park with an aerosol can using it as a flame thrower on the swings. Following a call to the police and then chasing the kids myself because the police were incapable of following directions, the two ringleaders were arrested, and we got a telephone call to say thank you.

Having a 3 year old daughter I want her t ogrow up well adjusted and with a respect for authority and law. Well Pokemon and Powerangers make great role models.

Tough justice is what some of these kids need and sooner rather than later. They see people on the news literally getting away with murder, what are they meant to think.

Give them something like boot camp or a day inside being harrassed by prisoners, then lets see them nick cars and vandalise things. Also make the parents more responsible for their actions, who lets their 12 year old kid go out after dark these days. Parents who don't give a t**s. It's time they did.
