“ Brand: Morrisons / Type: Pasta „
We buy a lot of products from Morrisons as it's the nearest supermarket to us and we try a lot of different types of food from there one of them being Morrisons Ravioli which cost us about 50p recently when we bought two tins...
My can of Ravioli says it is low fat and is a tasty quick lunch when I come home from college and want something warm to eat :)
Weighing 400g and it has a red and white label with a picture of ravioli in a nice looking juice on the front. Morrisons say quality and value and you can tell they are trying to do a good alternative to Heinz...
The food can be cooked in the microwave or on the cooker the instructions are on the label as well as the nutritional information.
There is 2g of salt in 200g which is a usual serving and 162 calories plus 1.8g of fat too.
For allergists there is gluten and sulphate.
The ravioli is 52% of the contents and the sauce is 48%, and the pasta is made into little square parcels with a meat filling in (Morrisons make a meat free version for vegetarians too).
The edges are patterned like they have been cut with pinking scissors and sealed.
The pasta is really soft and tasty and the tomato sauce is very rich and reddish in colour. The product does contain flavourings, and the meat is pork.
I like the taste of this ravioli and it comes a close second to Heinz but not as expensive.
I enjoy this for lunch as it is lovely warm and it is very filling and worth four stars in my opinion :)
