*** In need of a lunchtime lunch, I trotted down to Tesco and found this cheese and tomato pasta, save for the packaging this seemed to be almost the same product sold by Sainsbury's at a lower price. Packaging: The packaging is a plastic pot containing 300g of pasta, with a plastic fork included. If you're unlucky the plastic fork may not work, it is not always strong enough to endure the wrath of a tough pasta, however this has only happened to me a couple of times. I am not too keen on the packaging, simply as it takes longer to open than to eat the food, this is largely due to the sticky label that holds the lid down and ... Read the complete review

I have been eating this pasta for at least the past 3 years. I am not a fan of ready meals and being vegetarian I find it quite hard to find tasty ready meals. This pasta snack pot is really good for dinners and lunch. It is a simple but tasty meal. Pasta is a very easy to make but there are times when I do not get back from work until 9 and the prospect of having to make dinner and then clean up is not good. When I'm running late and end up with no time to make lunch, I end up popping into my local Tesco to find something yummy for my lunch. It's really difficult to know what to buy, something healthy but enjoyable, that wont take too long to eat.. I discovered these pasta pots a while ago now, and I really enjoy them. It is a pasta in a delicious, creamy tomato sauce, with pieces of cheese. This doesn't sound so nice I understand, but it really is enjoyable. The ones I buy are actually different to those in the image - they are in a clear pot with information on the top, with two strips plastic down the front and back, also displaying information. Sometimes when I get out of the gym I am just left feeling drained and starving and need to grab something to eat that isn't going to break the bank and isn't going to undo all the good work and effort I have put into being healthy! Today, instead of coming straight home with my stepdad from the gym we had to go do a bit of shopping in Tesco and do a few little jobs whilst we were out and so this snack pot seemed a very good idea cos not only was a large pot/tub of food and only cost £1.40..... however the downside of this little find was that it contains 525 calories and 17.4g of fat.....not so good but anyway I wanted it! The packgaing as I have ... Read the complete review
