Sometimes when I get out of the gym I am just left feeling drained and starving and need to grab something to eat that isn't going to break the bank and isn't going to undo all the good work and effort I have put into being healthy!

Today, instead of coming straight home with my stepdad from the gym we had to go do a bit of shopping in Tesco and do a few little jobs whilst we were out and so this snack pot seemed a very good idea cos not only was a large pot/tub of food and only cost £1.40..... however the downside of this little find was that it contains 525 calories and 17.4g of fat.....not so good but anyway I wanted it!

The packgaing as I have mentioned is a pot/tub and there is 300g of the pasta inside of that with a black little plastic fork in the lid and under the label which tells us what it is and who it is by and that it contains 'No artificial preservatives, flavours or colours' and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there, plus the best before date and price and then on another label ingredients, allergy advice, a full nutritional chart and the weight are stated along with the details for Tesco. Nice enough large pot this is and its informative enough too.

The Pasta:

What you get is a lot of cooked fusilli (twisted) pasta in a dark red smooth sauce which is flavoured with tomatoes that has lots of green coloured basil and oregano in it. The sauce is really richly flavoured and nicely seasoned, there are bits of red onion sliced in and visible golden coloured, grated cheddar.

The whole thing is yummy, everything is well cooked and tastes as it should...the pasta is al dente, the sauce is seriously tangy and tomatoey with a nice kick from the herbs and the cheddar is creamy and plentiful and the onion is crunchy...and so on.

I loved this and I couldn't finish the whole thing as there was just so much of it and believe me I have a huge appetite.

I give this a thumbs up to anyone (even Vegetarians can eat this!) as it really is a superb pasta dish and its one I can't wait to buy again!
