Compaq Armada Ministation EX ... provides an approximate seven-degree tilt for desktop feel, optional Monitor Support Cover for use with an external monitor and easy docking and undocking capabilities with single point connection. Safe undocking prevents undocking while data is being saved.

The Armada MiniStation EX includes an integrated 10 Mb/s Ethernet controller for easy network connection (RJ-45), upgradeable to 100 Mb/s with the optional 100BaseTX Ethernet Upgrade. An integrated modem is passed through the back of the convenience base via an RJ-11 port, allowing instant access to the notebook integrated modem, without any cables to deal with. An integrated power supply can charge up to two batteries in the notebook while you work, and support for an optional cable lock provision locks unit in base, and base to desk, preventing theft. In addition, the Armada MiniStation EX supports MultiBay and CardBus expansion.
