The Rack 4136 is a 19" industry-standard rack that provides an enclosure for rack-mountable products and has a height capacity of 36U (63 in). Front and back doors included. Side panels and stabilizing foot optional. It is also available as a frame only, with optional mesh front and back doors, side panels and stabilizing feet. It conforms to the Electronics Industry Association (EIA 310-D) standard for 19-inch racks, allowing maximum flexibility and convenience by supporting a wide variety of standard rack-mountable components. It is available as a complete rack with front and back doors, or as a frame only with optional front and back doors, allowing the Rack 4136 to have greater configuration flexibility. The lighter weight steel material of the frame makes the Rack 4136 easy to move but also stable and strong enough to handle today's heaviest components. The Rack 4136 increased air flow mesh front door provides proper visibility and ventilation. This simple, tool-less mechanism lets you easily join multiple Rack 4136 units together by simply clamping the sides of adjacent rack frames together. Optional side panels are available to place on the two ends. Optional removable sidewall panels on the Rack 4136 are easy to install and remove via quarter turn key locks. A single key opens and locks the sidewall panels and the front and back doors, providing enhanced security and convenience. The new web-based Compaq Rack Builder Pro configuration tool allows you to predetermine your equipment needs and plan space prior to ordering your system. Using Rack Builder Pro you can simulate an actual rack or multi-rack installation. Upon completion of your stimulated installation, Rack Builder Pro generates comprehensive reports detailing site planning data, rack "U" space, power requirements, ordering information and a graphic of your customized installation.
