Advantages: Connections on back, small, easy access buttons on the front

Disadvantages: Cant open laptop screen when docked

After using a dell port replicator for sometime to dock my laptop i was looking for something that made more use of space. This Desktop stand is ideal for space saving and looks smart too.

The laptop sits underneath the top shelf of this stand and connects to a "port replicator". On the back of the stand are then your usual laptop outputs for example, mouse keyboard, network, monitor cable. All within easy access as well as being kept tidy and meaning that you dont have to unplug wires from your laptop everytime you take it away.

The monitor then sits on top of the stand meaning that not only is it a great space saving tool, it also gives an extra advantage of being able to raise the level of the monitor if your slightly taller like me and even better if your monitor in non height adjustable.

On the front of the stand are two buttons, an "undock button" to safely remove the laptop and a power button meaning you dont have to open the laptop to turn it on.

One disadvanage of this is if you need to open the laptop for any reason as i have done several times then there is very limited space to to see the laptop screen whilst it is still connected. But then this isnt designed for you to open the laptop anyway.

If your looking for a space saving option this is ideal if not slightly expensive.

Summary: Easy way to free up space on your desk and be able to leave everything connected!
