Dicota Comfortcase S de Luxe ... arranged semi rigid case. It is compact and lightweight with lots of space. This beautifully designed case combines the characteristics of a hard shell case with the flexibility of a soft case. Despite offering lots of space the case is very lightweight. A foam-padded aluminium frame provides notebook and printer with the necessary protection. Adjustable divider allows for the individual arrangement of the main pocket. More space in an extra pocket for all documents. Accessories are in the lid to save space and are always ready to hand.

However I never got to find a new stockist, as when the lady on the phone heard it had suffered some minor damage during its 8 years she told me about the lifetime gaurantee, and asked where I wanted my new bag sent. (receipt long lost) I was staggered! I actually thought it was some sort of con, but no. All I had to do was to send them the old case and they sent me the new one by return. I bought one of these, actually it was the previous generation although very similar, back in 1993. I used it for various generations of Laptops, including the early 90's Laptops weighing in at over 5kg, and it survived incredably well. It took a great deal of punishment during its life, from being thrown into car boots, dropped, taken on and off flights etc. It was only in 2001 that I decided that it was beggining to get a bit ropey, and it was probably time to buy another.
