As I said, the CPU holder has 4 castors and they feel very robust and run very well over smooth surfaces. They aren't the greatest for thick pile carpets, though if you can afford thick pile carpets then you will be prepared to pay more than the £10 that this stand cost me!
The CPU stand also allows me to get the hoover right under it and because it is easy to move, it is easy to keep clean. Before this stand I found that dust gathers very quickly behind and inside the CPU...more

Although I do have a workstation, I have never been a big fan of just sitting a CPU on the floor or on a hard and flat surface for the rest of its days. The Exponent Adjustable CPU Holder is a great solution for those that like the idea of having their CPU on castors. One advantage is that it is easy to transport from room to room, although I cant image this being high on anyone's priorities because i cant image many regularly moving the position of their CPU.
