Advantages: Simple and effective to use

Disadvantages: Quite expensive

I last purchased one of these Fellowes Air dusters about 6 months ago, as my previous one had run out, and my laptop was starting to look dusty, and dirty again, especially in between the keys, and around the edge of the screen.

I got it from my local PC World, where I paid about £6 for it.

These air dusters are basically a pressurised aerosol can which is packed full of pure compressed air or inert gas. The 350 ml can is yellow in colour, with a red plastic cap, and it has a plastic nozzle at the top, which can be pressed down to eject the compressed air. Also included with the can is a red plastic straw which can be inserted into the nozzle to help to aim the air into a precise area such as between the keys of a PC or laptop keyboard.
The beauty with these little air dusters is that they are invertible, meaning that the can will also spray out the air, even if it is turned upside down (when trying to reach difficult areas), as the air dusters are fully invertible.

The main purpose of these air dusters is that they can be used for the removal of dust and other airborne contamination from very delicate or difficult to reach areas of electrical and electronic equipment.
The air comes out of the can with a quite powerful force, which is plenty to shift any dust or light contamination from pretty much wherever you like. The only slight consideration when using these air dusters is that if the can is shaken quite violently while spraying the air, then there is a danger of some small ice cold liquid contents coming from the nozzle, mixed into the air stream, which is VERY cold, and can cause frostbite if sprayed onto skin, according to the warning on the can.

Along with using my Air duster for cleaning out my keyboard, computer screen, inside the printer, and the TV screen surface, I have also found it very useful for blowing away cobwebs in the corners of the roof, or in between kitchen cupboards and units.
It also comes in handy for just simply dusting off surfaces, without the need for getting the polish and a cloth out (although it does only move the dust onto another area or onto the floor).

I also use it to clean around the little buttons and knobs on various remote controls around the house, along with my car radio, and dashboard.

As mentioned above, I did buy my current can about 6 months ago, and I would estimate that the can is still about half full, meaning that a can of this does last quite a while.
The power of the spray does begin to fade a little as the can becomes quite empty, until it just eventually stops coming out altogether once the can is completely empty.

As the can is pressurised, it should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 50°C, and should not be pierced or burnt, and it should not be sprayed onto a naked flame.
The contents of the can are 100% ozone friendly, and HFC free.

Thanks for reading.
