Very reliable, easy to use, must have for any security minded business.

Most of the computer equipment and laptops at my place of work are security locked and these Kensington Microsaver Laptop locks come in handy with the slimline notebooks we have. kensington do a very qide range of different locks and supply all the locking devices in our offices. There are many key features to this particular laptop lock and some of which other competitors do and do not provide with their products.

This model has a near impenetrable disk style keyed locking mechanism which is critical with this type of product. My home laptop - and 99% of notebooks, have a Kensington security slot on them and this is the locking point. They also come with a patented T-bar locking mechanism which provides far superior protection than other inferior locks. The cable is made from extra strong carbon steel which also gives added security. The locks come with a rubber strap which is handy for organising the cable when not in use and two keys are provided.

The solid plastic surrounding the cable gives a more aesthetically pleasing look, and every effort has clearly being made to ensure it is not just a very secure lock, but it is easy on the eye too.

Kensington supply the most hard wearing locks around, and this is backed up by the fact that the majority of all laptops come with a Kensington lock slot. At around £40 they arent cheap, but for business use and expensive equipment they are essential.
