My Husband got the Kindle and this cover for his birthday about 18 months ago but I have ended up using it more than he has! When we first ordered the cover I thought it would be a waste of money but I was wrong. The main benefit is the reading light. I often read in bed and it means I can read while my baby Daughter (who has been co-sleeping since she was born!) can sleep undisturbed. The little light just pulls out when you want it and then pushes back down when you have finished. The cover is also well made and sturdy. Our Daughter managed to get hold of our one a few weeks back and broke it so we have just had to replace it but luckily the price has come down a bit now. I think it is a little over priced for what it is but as I find the kindle text sometimes hard to read even in a relatively well-lit room I just couldn't go without it.
