Touch screen PDA's are a fantastic invention, they eliminate the need for cumbersome keyboards and associated wiring. However you do need something to touch the screen with to indicate your intentions to the PDA. Now I for one have chunky fingers so they are pretty much useless as an alternative to the stylus which is the implement used to touch the screen. A stylus is supplied with your PDA, but most are flimsy and don't last very long before they get broken. A stylus is basically a 4 inch thin cylindrical piece of solid plastic with a blunted point at one end.
