This is an amazing fan - mesmorising light messages seem to hover in 3d in fact somehow it is projected onto the fan blades. The most useful piece of information is the realtime air temperature. It's a good powerful fan and wasn't very expensive, not much point in hiding it inside a case but if you run xeternal hard drives and rig it as a mobile external fan it's very effective and good fun
