Advantages: Keeps your cpu cool when needed
Disadvantages: You have to install other than that none
Well what can i say about this i currently have one in my system does everything a cpu cooler should unlike most stock coolers they overheat and your system restarts on its own.
When i had my old stock cooler for my AMD AthlonTM Dual-Core 5200 2.6
It was running at around 42c to 45c.
At the time i was also looking to speed the cpu up and see what i could push it too but because the temps where a little high on stock cooler i didn't risk it...
Since installing one of theses grate Arctic Cooing freezer Pro 64 with PMW management on it.
My temps have fallen right down to 21c to 24c even under stress testing it don't budge that much goes close to around 28c to32c and that's half of what it use to run at on stock fan.
If i was playing any games i would have problems of my system restarting because things where getting hot but now i have one of theses installed i can not only play games and not have my system restart on me. I can overclock my system too.
My Current CPU i have is AMD AthlonTM Dual-Core 5200 2.6 ghz running at 3.0ghz now and has been for the nuber of months and not had any problems and even done some stress tests and its rock solid testing for 8hrs and not once has it got any problems temps running at 46c to 50c
But its expected when overclocking at them speeds and cant complain..
Just goes to show Arctic coolers are very good at getting rid of heat and keeping things cool when its needed to as the air flow and directions it flows in also cools other areas at the same time how it does this is because of its design.
Best things i like is that one i only paid £14.99 for it and there is a lot of other coolers that cost way more and don't even cool proper or fit correct.
Is very quite and can hardly hear it at times unless playing games and stuff then you can hear it as the fan speeds up but i can live with that.
Summary: Grate cooler for AMD cpu's would recommend buying if you need a good cooler
