So air-cooled isn't really my thing. For years now I have had a water cooled gaming rig. One of my friends wanted me to build a gaming rig for them but they had a limited budget. This was one of the parts that they purchased for me to install to their PC and I was very suprised at how well this thing works.
First of all, the majority of air cooling fans and kits are very cheap anyway. This one is around £15-20. If you are building a custom built gaming rig then I know how tedious it can be when you are on a budget and someone suggests you go out and spend some extra money on cooling kits and fans, but think of it this way, you spend £20 on a cheap cooling kit such as this one now and ensure that your system doesn't overheat and you may save yourself some money in the long run. Graphics cards, Processors and Memory Units are not cheap the last thing you want is for your system to cremate so that you need to go and replace parts. You would be suprised how hot graphics cards get during the summer months as well.
So I installed this kit with ease, it just clips on. (It literally takes about 5 seconds.) It has blue neon L.E.D's around the fans which will give your case a nice internal glow. The fans seem to give a very cool, slick jet of air. My friend has used his gaming rig that I built for him for about 4 months now and he has had no problems (even during the hottest summer days).
Overall, a good purchase and it may save you money in the long run, it works suprisingly well but I would advise that if you have some top of the line gaming parts in your rig that you go and buy yourself a water cooling kit or a more expensive better quality air cooled kit (although it would be more costly -- definately worth it.)
It would be IDEAL for someone who has not very much experience in computer building who is building their first gaming rig.
