	Sun Blade 2000 ... servers come with a range of specifications - although for those not in the know it s worth noting that the components are all made by sun microsystems so the processors are not intel nor amd the are sun...this is true for all of the components and the operating system is also a sun os, specifically a unix based os (not a window to be seen). These can be quite expensive to repair due to the parts being hard to get hold of and the cost of those. Often if for example the power supply unit blows the machine is stripped and the parts sold on ebay or similar. 	Aopen miniPC Duo MP945-D ... now for those of you commenting and wondering about this, firstly this is a barebone product, meaning the case only. You will have to get all the processor, motheroard, RAM, Optical drive seperately and basically fix it all together with some good know how. You can also get a few premade ones as well. However the actual unit by itself is a lot smaller than your average standard tower PC case, a lot smaller than any gaming rig would ever be as well. If you want this for portability then i would suggest a laptop, as now you not only have lightweight and more powerful notebooks but also smaller longer lasting netbooks. 	Dell Dimension 9200 ... ve had this PC for work for 2 years now. I won t get into all of the tech. spec. here, but just give an overview of performance. Running Windows XP, it has a decent amount of memory (2GB of RAM) and is fairly quick, although it does have a tendency to slow down when using Windows Explorer. That could be down to the work network, but it s hard to pinpoint. I installed a Fedora Linux Virtual Machine which ran with no problems and no unexpected slow-down. You can run quite a few browsers at the same time usually without slowdown, although, as with all PCs, it does have it s moments!
