... speedily, the stuff I'm typing has no lag (always annoying for us touch typist's huh? ;-)).
The hard drive is relatively small however (the one I'm on having around 31GB of space), this may be a problem to you I-tunes/Napster/P2P/Bit-torrent users (I'm not advocating the stealing of music here, but still a small hard drive will do you lot no favours). HP Vectra VL800 ... applications simultaneously and multi task. In this excellent computer you can have up to 2GB of RAM meaning excellent performance. The computer comes full with a 40GB hard drive, more than enough storage space for a standard home computer for the family. This amount of space on a hard disk drive is like having approximately 10 full DVD’s on you computer. As well as this excellent storage capacity it also comes with CD ROM drive and Floppy disk drive. Apple eMac ... iMovie HD and iDvd are bundled with this (neither are much worth shouting about) but Garageband which is also bundled is fun. It is the best value Apple computer by far (avoid the macmini like the plague) though it doesnot sport the G5, the G4 is very much adequate and the ATI radeon graphics card is great. Buy it now before apple destroy it by replacing the powerpc with a crappy intel processor. As far as iMacs go, dont bother- I've heard the CRT gets burned out with the close proximity to the powerful G5 processor and the mac mini has ALL the disadvantages of the iBook and powerbook but None of the advantages apart from easy mobility (but you still have to ...
